Information About Our Speech Therapy Services
At SpeakEZ, we treat a variety of disorders to increase your independence in daily life. Here you’ll find information regarding our offered services, steps on how the process works, and basic facts.
How It Works
Speech therapy can address a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders, and it is natural to have questions about how teletherapy works. This section is designed to guide you through the process, from getting started and understanding what to expect during therapy sessions to learning what happens after your course of speech therapy is complete.
-
We begin with a free phone or online consultation to understand your needs, goals, and concerns. We'll help determine if our services are the right fit for you or your child. Check out our services for more information on what we treat!
-
Next, we schedule a comprehensive speech and language evaluation. This helps us identify strengths, areas for improvement, and create a customized therapy plan tailored to your specific needs.
-
You’ll start one-on-one therapy sessions with a licensed speech-language pathologist. Sessions will be online, and in-person sessions are offered only for dysphagia based on location.
We’ll begin each session by discussing your challenges and progress, and then work together on targeted activities that focus on improving your skills. A mix of evidence-based techniques, interactive exercises, and real-life practice are used to make therapy both effective and enjoyable.
-
You are kept informed every step of the way. We regularly review progress, celebrate successes, and adjust therapy plans as needed to support continued growth. Your goals are never rushed and our goal is to help you build confidence and develop skills at a pace that works for you.
-
Once goals are met, we provide strategies for maintaining progress and offer optional check-ins to support long-term success.

What to Expect From Therapy
Speech-language therapy is a personalized process, and outcomes can vary from person to person. While therapy is designed to support meaningful progress, there is no guarantee that treatment will fully resolve a condition or produce the same results for every individual.
The goal of therapy is not a promised cure, but to provide evidence-based tools, clinical guidance, and ongoing support tailored to your unique needs. Progress depends on many factors, including the nature of the condition, consistency of attendance, practice outside of sessions, and individual response to treatment. Together, we focus on building skills, confidence, and functional communication to help you reach your best possible outcome.
